Pro Pract — Week 5 Reflection
Phew! A lot of things were going on this week!
In the Tuesday’s Professional Practice class, I listened to a lecture given by Kat Vellos on friendships in adulthood. The three concepts she talked about, repetition, vulnerability and novelty, were quite interesting. We did a small exercise called the Friend Power Pack in class. Betty and I are also planning for holding a follow-up session for the lecture.
Some progress have been made on the OKR of “finding a meaningful internship” as well. I started a new website as my job portfolio after I figured that the this might be very different from the portfolio for Junior Review. I am using some projects from the JR website, but cut down the process work a little bit so they are more focused on the final product. The site is not published yet, but I already have one case study ready on it. I am planning to finish 3 projects on this two days. I estimate such a short time since it’s more of a showcase of the final outcomes.
For the coming week, as I am getting ready to take a GRE test, I am only planning for some light work such as publishing all the sketchnotes I have so far and finding some connections.
